Crosslinking Events
The Crosslinking Events are the heart of the Mota Crosslinking Business Academy (MCBA). They were created and organized to show recognition to businesses in the community that are minority owned by individuals of different backgrounds and cultures. Each event reflects the hard work and distinct effort made by these individuals to the surrounding community and select government officials. These events also correspond to national holidays and celebrated days on the calendar we all live by.
Since the inaugural SC Latino Business Day in 2019, MCBA has launched numerous multicultural events. During these events, attendees witness the reading of business day proclamations written by MCBA and proclaimed by various entities, including the SC Governor’s Office, City of Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, and Charleston. The entire ceremony combines awards that acknowledge individuals and business owners with culture, food, music, and connections, all while celebrating the extensive diversity of the surrounding communities.
