Mota Crosslinking Business Academy (MCBA) (Pronounced MEC-buh)
Born in the heart of West Columbia, first came to be at the corner of 12th St and D Ave. Here is where a vision was planted and toke root to build an amazing and thriving business. With a partnership for building renovation with PNEDR and Tom Liberty, the now beautiful academy began to take shape. Although they had a struggle through the epidemic of Covid-19, the Team pushed through with confidence in a finished, optimal and safe environment.
After multiple repairs, painting, partnerships, sweat and tears, the academy first opened its doors in December of 2019 with crafting events for holidays and art-for-relaxation. These beginning events helped to weave together the very fabric of what the academy stands for.
The addition of the cafe kitchen began in February of 2020 and was initially complete in May 2020, however it continued to grow and be redesigned with a "MCBA Cafe" and cooking classes in mind. These additions were finalize by 2022, making way for the future of receptions for Crosslinking events and graduations, snacks for the Biz for Kids events, and most recently the opportunity to have a licensed Café.
By August 2020, with furnishings, the academy was ready to open its doors to begin classes of development and business education.
